The emperor penguin lives in the Antarctic Circle and eats fish, krill, and other small sea creatures. It has black and white feathers with a white belly and black back, as well as an orange/yellow ear patch. The chick has fluffy grey feathers that molt into waterproof feathers after several weeks or months. The most interesting things about the emperor penguin are watching the chick grow up and learning about predators like the leopard seal.
