4. Summary
NOTE: Due to reasons stated below I did not include the Zamzar
converted video and instead included reduced quality version
that I converted personally.
I found all of these to be potentially useful services
except for Zamzar. Since I deal with video files very often I have
video editing and converting software that I had previously
purchased. This software does not have a file size limit and I
have more control over the resulting format (frame
size, bitrate, framerate, etc). This lack of options on Zamzar
resulted in a 58.9MB mp4 video converting into a 264.2MB wmv
video (increasing its size by more than four times). It seems
more convenient to me to convert it myself and upload to a file
host like Dropbox, Mediafire, Skydrive, Google Drive, etc.
Also my group seemed to have issues getting a meeting
set up so that didn’t happen. We agreed on a time but people
got tied up with work and things I guess.
