attended our annual Dodge That doge
ball tournament at Stafford Intermediate
School!

 The youth presented a small fashion
show, displaying the different fashions
from across the globe!

 TORCH 2012 is projected
to be August 8-11, 2012 in
Placious, Texas
 Houston is the host for
this conference so things
are expected from us:

7. National Youth
Conference
 Affiliated with the Syro Malabar Convention in July in
Atlanta, GA
 “Featuring dynamic and relevant speakers, as well
as opportunities for fellowship, networking, and
spiritual enrichment, NYC is geared to meet the
needs of middle schoolers, high schoolers, college
students, young adults and young married couples.”

8. Future Basketball
Tournaments
 With the great addition of the basketball
hoops that the church has provided, we
are looking into expanding our horizons
by establishing basketball related
activities for the youth! (An idea is
basketball clinics for younger ages)

9. Fundraisers!
 Ideas such as the basketball workshop
are welcome to the floor. Bake sales are
a set fundraiser, but volunteers from the
youth are required. Youth participation
makes us SJYAL, not simply just
officers.

10. Way of the Cross
 Two years ago we did a reenactment of
the Way of the Cross of Good Friday.
 This year, we hope to repeat this
tradition by doing the same
presentation.
 Those that are interested, we will have a
sign up post on Facebook later this
week
