The document describes a simple sound system setup on Monday April 3rd from 2:30pm to 3:20pm. A microphone and DI box were connected to two speakers using XLR cables. Risks included electric shock from live wires, which could be prevented by performing a PAT test of all wires. The DI box connects into two jack cables and the mixer allows for panning left and right as well as EQ adjustments for bass, mid, and treble frequencies. Condenser microphones require 48V phantom power. The mixer is placed at the back so sound can be heard by the entire audience.
