The document is a script that follows a group of teenagers - Jessica, Julie, Brad, Johnny and Kevin - who are in detention. They discuss skipping their party to take a shortcut through the woods. 2. 1 INT.AFTERNOON.CLASSROOM
Jessica, Julie, Brad, Johnny and Kevin are siting round
the table during detention. The classroom is empty with
four empty tables surrounding them as they sit on the
middle table. Teacher, Mr Ricketts is at the front on the
classroom giving them a lecture.
MR RICKETS
You think its all a joke. That
everything’s going to come
straight to you. life’s a doddle
right? Your wrong! You all need
to buck up and grow up.
JULIE
Shut up, Old man.
BRAD
Init man, like being here isn’t
bad enough we gotta listen to his
stuupidd voice.
MR RICKETS
Stop talking!
KEVIN
Eer guys have you seen the
time...
JESSICA
Ooohh great! We’re gonna be late!
I’m gonna be late for my own
party woopp...(sarcastic)
JULIE
Don’t worry, will get there, we
have to iv never missed a party
and I’m not planning to start
now.
JOHNNY
Lets not lie to the girl. If we
don’t get outta here now we aint
getting there on time. Face it.
JULIE
Way to brake it to her Johnny.
Gosh.
MR RICKETS
Your generation cant do something
without the need to take a
shortcut. You cant cheat life you
know. you cant go taking
shortcuts at every corner, it
will only end badly.

Brad and Julie go off. Kevin goes off.
KEVIN
Where have them two gone? Stay
here, I’ll track back and look
for them.
JESSICA

Kevin sees killer.
KEVIN
What are you doing here?
Flash/blackout.

Brad and Julie chained up in lair.
JULIE
(screaming) HELP!!!

Kevin searching alone in woods.
KEVIN
