Senior Project Presentation
Template
Usethis template as an optional guide on how to set up your presentation. You can
have as many slides as you need. You will want to be professional ( no crazy
transitions or clip art that does not match topic). Be sure to not have too much
information on one slide ( follow 7X7 rule).
Presentation Day: March 17, 2017
Part 1 TheFour-Year Journey
(3-6 minutes)
This is a transition slide. The next few slides break down the time and
provide suggestions on what you will discuuss.

Academic Growth (1-2minutes)
• In the “Academic Growth” section of the presentation, students
should use their transcript to highlight growth. This does NOT mean
that they need to show their transcript. In addition, students can give
any other examples of academic growth that have occurred in their
four years of high school to satisfy this requirement.
• This can be broken into several slides and pictures should be shown.
6.
Personal Growth (1-2minutes)
• In the “Personal Growth” section of the presentation, students should
highlight after school and/or community-based activities in which
they have been involved. Examples should be specific. Students
should include why they chose to participate in these activities and
how they have grown from these experiences. They can include ANY
area of personal growth, it does NOT have to be limited to after
school or community-based activities.
• This can be broken into several slides and pictures should be shown.
7.
Connection to Future(1-2 minutes)
• Students share how Appoquinimink School District has prepared them
for their future. They should consider, given the opportunity to
experience their high school years over, what would they have done
differently? Identify how their academic and personal growth can be
successfully applied to their post high school plans.
• This can be broken into several slides and pictures should be shown.

Part 2 Introductionto Research
(1-2) minutes
Students will introduce their research project by describing why they
chose this topic, and why it was important to them.

Part 3 Bodyof Presentation
Discuss Research Facts ( 3-5 min)
• The body should focus upon the research paper facts of the Senior
Project.
• This should be several slides with pictures/diagrams.
10.
Your Project
• Discussyour service project, creative project, or research paper
(students who selected this as project).
• This is where you will show your 50 hours of documentation.
• This section can be broken into several slides with pictures from your
experience.
11.
Part 4 Conclusion(1-2 minutes)
• Students will summarize what they have learned and comment about
the worth of the project and the value of the Senior Project
requirement.
