Final Master's Defense Presentation : Policy-driven Security Management in Ga...Clinton DSouza
As part of a Cisco Inc. funded project, I worked with Dr. Gail-Joon Ahn to propose a Policy Management framework to address secure collaboration and communication between disparate systems and Internet of Thing devices. We took this research one step further by proposing a robust, interacting and responsive edge-based infrastructure which we termed GORE computing. The Policy Management framework thus proposed in this computing paradigm is generic in nature with the intention of it being capable for utilization in futuristic edge-based computing paradigms for IoT based devices.

California Community Care Coordination Collaborative - April 9, 2013 WebinarLucilePackardFoundation
The California Community Care Coordination Collaborative launched its work with an introductory webinar on April 9. The goal of the Collaborative, funded by the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health, is to improve the quality of care coordination for children with special health care needs by providing a structured opportunity for leaders to learn from one another, identify areas of shared need, discuss emerging challenges and connect with others engaged in this work. Each of the six regional coalitions participating in the Collaborative has begun work. In June, these coalitions will come together at the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health, which is funding the project, for their first all-day meeting. As the work of the Collaborative develops, we will post resources and information about care coordination.

Testing for Sustainability: Lessons From the Post-Intervention Study in Taita...CORE Group
Plan International conducted a post-intervention study in Kenya to evaluate the long-term impacts of projects implemented from 1986-2002. The study found that many infrastructure projects like latrines, water systems, and school buildings remained in use and had improved living standards. Livelihood projects increased family nutrition, income, and education. However, some water systems were incomplete and not properly handed over. The study recommends conducting local analysis before programming, aligning with national children's rights, gradual phasing out with community involvement, and continued support of past partners. The lessons will inform a new post-intervention study in an area Plan left in 2006/07 to further evaluate long-term impacts and community empowerment.
Creating A Sustainable Adult Recruitment Pool At The University Of Wisconsin ...WCET
The University of Wisconsin System developed a process to create a sustainable adult student recruitment pool. They built a database of over 14,000 potential adult students by compiling records from various sources. UW then implemented an integrated marketing approach including direct mailings, an improved website, and personalized outreach to recruit from this pool. Over 2,700 new applications and over 900 new enrollments resulted from these efforts. Moving forward, UW plans to explore additional innovative recruitment strategies using new technologies.

• Analysis
• Budget
• Initial cost should be reasonable. • Design
• Implementation
• Construction
• Installation and Transition
9. End of Semester Accomplishments
• Design a feasible plan for construction and renovation of the site.

around Arizona and other states as well.
• In an unknown amount of time, the best case scenario would be having an
unbelievable amount of these counseling offices in every state in
America.
