1) Four teenagers are drinking in an isolated park at night. Two of the friends, Sadie and Dave, disappear, making Fleur worried for their safety while the others are more relaxed. 2) When Dave returns without Sadie, he claims she went missing in the forest and they heard her scream in the distance. Fleur wants to search for Sadie but the others think Dave is joking or they went off together until Dave attacks one of the boys in anger over the situation. 3) Sadie's scream unsettles the group and confirms she is actually in danger in the dark forest, in contrast to the others initially dismissing the situation.

1. CUT IN:
PARK- EVENING
4 teenagers stand binge drinking in a deserted park.
SADIE and DAVE have disappeared as the evening has
continued. The darkness of the night is upon, making
FLEUR afraid and pace due to the disappearance of her
friends.
Riley pulls out a cigarette out her packet and lights
it with a lighter.
RILEY
Will you stop walking around
and just sit down and have a
drink?
Riley rolls her eyes.
Fleur continues to pace with her phone in hand trying
to ring her friend Sadie.
FLEUR
How can you be so calm!?Sadie
and Dave have gone missing!
We should be looking for
them!
JACK
Give it a fucking rest Fleur,
we aren’t in some horror
movie. Dave and Sadie have
gone to have some, lets say,
alone time. You go looking
for them now you’ll see
something I don’t think
you’ll like.

2. Jack runs his hands through his hair and then takes a
swig from his drink. Fleur sits next to Riley and then
takes her cigarette out of her hands and smokes it and
then chokes. Jack begins to laugh.
JACK
Take it easy, princess.
RILEY
All right, Jack. Take
it easy on her. Fleur,
Jack’s right. Sadie and
Dave are together,
nothings going to
happen. How many times
have we been here and
done exactly what we’re
doing now? Dave and
Sadie always go off,
lets just enjoy being
alone for a bit and
having a drink without
having to here Sadie’s
voice every 5 seconds.
FLEUR
They’ve never been gone
this long whatever,
someone pass me my
drink.
Jack begins to laugh and take Fleurs bottle away from
her to annoy her. Fleur gets up and begins to chase
after Jack who has got up and is running away from
her with her bottle in hand.
JACK
Watch out, we’ve got a
rebel over here!

3. Alcohol solves nothing
Fleur!
RILEY
Stop teasing her Jack.
FLEUR
You think you’re so
funny! Just give it
back!
Jack finally slows down and Fleur steals her bottle
back. Fleur sits down next to Riley and takes the
cigarette out of her hand and takes a pull, she
chokes, forcing both Jack and Riley to laugh.
JACK
A leopard never
changes its spots
really, does it
Fleur?
FLEUR
Piss off.
Riley takes her cigarette back off of Fleur and
continues to smoke. Dave returns, without Sadie,
looking panicked and flustered. Fleur immediately
gets up and rushes to Dave.
DAVE
She’s gone, one minute
she was with me and
then she wasn’t and I
don’t know where she is
and she’s gone.

4. FLEUR
Who Sadie? Where did
you see her, like where
did you last see her? I
told you something was
wrong!
Jack continues to laugh at their frets. Dave is
staring at the ground whereas Fleur is crying,
fearing for her friend’s life.
JACK
He’s pulling your leg
Fleur, and its bloody
working as well! I’ll
give it to you Jack
you’re a top little
actor, now where’s Sadie
because I’m getting
fucking bored just
sitting here.
Dave pounces of Jack, grabbing him by his collar in
anger. Fleur jumps back whereas Riley charges to drag
Dave off of Jack, but Dave’s strength overrides
Riley’s for a moment. Riley finally gets Dave off of
Jack and is holding him back.
DAVE
Why would I fucking
make that up? Why would
I leave my girlfriend
in the middle of a
fucking forest at night
on her own?!

5. A scream echoes in the distance, and the entire group
know it is Sadie’s voice. Fleur begins to whimper.
