Scout Law
• Scout Oath
• On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout
Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and
morally straight.
• Scout Law:
• A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient,
cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.
• Scout Slogan
• Do a Good Turn Daily
• Scout Motto
• Be Prepared! “you are always in a state of readiness in mind and body to do your duty.” -

Principles of Scouting
• Scouting is based on three broad Principles that represent the
movement's fundamental beliefs. They are known as Duty to God,
Duty to Others and Duty to Self.
• Integrity - Scouts act with integrity; Scouts are honest, trustworthy
and loyal.
• Respect - Scouts have self-respect and respect for others.
• Care - Scouts support others and take care of the world in which we
live.
• Belief - Scouts explore their faiths, beliefs and attitudes.
