Items carried forward.

              Christmas Parties

Classes were asked:

Do classes still want a party with perhaps an opt out quiet area?
      What other alternatives are there?

All classes still wanted a party. Year 3 had suggested hide and seek or a disco.
Year 4 had suggested a talent show, fancy dress or an entertainer who came
into school. Year 5 had not discussed the issue and Year 6 would like their own
party with more grown up games (Bench ball?) and food in the hall.

Miss Cooper: Eco Schools Silver Award.

Miss Cooper is off ill and this item will carry forward

As Mrs Hughes had only received two entries, the closing date has been
extended to this Friday, 26th.

Any other business

The following suggestions were made and will be raised by Ella with Mrs
Rathmell.

People like kicking tennis balls around at lunch time but this isn’t
currently allowed. Would it be possible for an area to be set aside for
      this?
Would it be possible for the girls football team to have a kit similar to
      the boys?
      CLUBS
The cross country club was very popular. Would it be possible to revive
      it?

Would a bike club be possible, teaching pupils to ride as well as skills? It
was suggested that the people who run Bikeability might be interested.

A trampoline club was also suggested (although we don’t currently have a
trampoline) and at this point councillors were reminded that requests
from classes needed to be realistic and achievable.

Date of next meeting

Monday 12th November, 1.00 in the Coach House.
