13. Inspect skull for trauma

14. Secret: Always check orbits for fracture

15. Inspect eyes for bleeding, swelling, and injury

16. Check for response to light

17. In alert patient, inquire about vision impairment

18. Check ears for blood, fluids, trauma, and hearing loss

19. Inspect nose for bleeding, discharge, and trauma

20. Inspect mouth for bleeding and trauma

21. Palpate thyroid and trachea

22. Check if trachea is midline

23. Observe for jugular vein distention

24. Palpate and percuss chest

25. Auscultate all lung fields

26. May also listen for heart tones

27. Palpate four quadrants of abdomen

28. Observe for pain, rigidity, masses, and rebound tenderness

29. Check stability of pelvis

30. In men, check for priapism

31. Check both legs and feet for trauma

32. Check circulatory, motor, and sensory status

33. Check arms and hands for trauma

34. Check circulatory, motor, and sensory status

36. Use PPE!!!
