I worked as an SAP UI5 developer from June 2014 to present. I developed modules for HorizonTouch, an application built on the SAP UI5 platform to support both desktop and mobile devices. My responsibilities included analyzing existing application code and requirements, coordinating with onsite leads, developing new UI5 screens, designing front-end screens using controls and data binding, making OData calls, and ensuring internationalization.

Project Details:
HorizonTouch is an application developed on the SAP UI5 platform. It supports both desktop
and handheld devices, by utilizing both the "commons" and the "M (mobile)" libraries.
Development of specific modules of the application was handled, including incidents during
hypercare phase. Post development, language dependencies were also taken care of using
the Internationalisation (i18ln) concept, developing the icc Localisation files by coding in
the respective key value pairs, with the “oData.getText” concept.
Project Responsibilities:
∑ Analysis of the process flow (both functional and code based logic) of the existing
application as per the requirement.
∑ Co-ordinate with Onsite leads to understand the requirement.
∑ Analyse the code of the application.
∑ Methods and event for Navigation.
∑ Complex Data Binding concepts (bidirectional) were also used. JSON data files
and OData files were successfully consumed.
∑ Extensively used extended classes.
∑ Developed some of the change request UI5 screen on the top of the existing
application, based on Functional Specification.
∑ Designed Front-end screen by leveraging UI5 control and value holder or data
containers.
∑ ODATA call and model instantiation and binding.
∑ Closely worked on Formatter classes in case of Calender Week incidents.
∑ Extensively used i18n features using key value pairs for internationalization.
∑ Worked on CSS, HTML5, JavaScript and JSON.
∑ Used Shell for layout compartmentalisation and various other theming and UI
related value holder placements using Matrix Layout.
∑ Used mobility classes “sap.m” for exposing the code to mobile devices, for
onscreen rendering in phones or tablets.
∑ Modifying and/or support existing code based on daily basis incident.
