1. Santiago Martin - Mr. Jose Charles Martin
Mr. Jose Charles Martin is the director of the Martin Group of Companies. As the eldest son
of Mr. Santiago Martin, he is groomed with an entrepreneurial state of mind and a
passionate forethought upon every business opportunity that enables him “to pursue his
great vision and mission of becoming one of the world’s best businessmen”. Mr. Jose
Charles Martin is an adaptable individual with a knack of taking the right risks to grow in a
strategic direction. Driven by an intense need to perform combined with an innate
ambition to succeed, he wishes to expand his business ventures and enterprises from being
merely profitable establishments into internationally well-reputed empires with social
responsibility.
Mr. Jose Charles Martin has had the privileged opportunity of being exposed to “a wide
spectrum of the business and work scenarios right from an early age”. This has enabled him
to grow quickly as a professional and gain a highly detailed insight into the functions and
business processes of various business sectors and lines. Having an insatiable appetite to
learn, along with a strong sense of business morality, he believes in honest, straightforward
and fair business deals. He practices the concept of innovative thinking and spends a large
amount of time contemplating about all the possible future developments he could
incorporate into his vision of taking the organization to the next levels and beyond. Among
several of his innovative business ideas, is “the formation of the Health City” at Coimbatore,
Tamil Nadu, India - which has been considered by many as a rather unique concept.
He enjoys a variety of athletic and sporting pursuits, and was once the “winner in Air Rifle
Shooting” in Good Shepherd International School, Ooty. Mr. Jose Charles Martin has been a
proficient athlete, with a good track record of achievements in track events of 200 M, 400
M, and 4x100 M and cross country races. He was a player in the Montfort school football
team in district level, as well as in the team for Middlesex University, Dubai. Apart from the
usual sports and games, he is also a good swimmer and a good Horse rider, just as he
enjoys games of Golf and Tennis regularly.
Mr. Jose Charles Martin believes that it is the righteous duty of every individual to give back
a portion of the goodness received, in return to society. Such a strong charitable attitude
has inspired him to personally undertake several generous charitable deeds and works
both as an individual as well as through the group. He has also “collaborated with World
Vision to undertake the sponsoring of a child aged about 8 years”.

other countries.
