Today, Banco Santander launched "School of Champions", a 12-minute documentary about the experience of four young international drivers at the Ferrari Driver Academy. For the fourth year, the bank took various promising young talents to do trials at the academy in Maranello (Italy) in October 2014. The drivers are the Spaniard Marta Ariza, the Brazilian Pietro Fittipaldi (Emerson's grandson); the American Jake Craig, and the Mexican Axel Matus.

"School of Champions", featuring four young
drivers from the Ferrari Driver Academy
 The documentary includes statements from Spaniard Marta Ariza, Brazilian Pietro
Fittipaldi, Jake Craig from the US and Axel Matus from Mexico, who enjoyed three
days on campus in Maranello in October 2014.
Madrid, June 17, 2015. Today, Banco Santander launched "School of Champions", a
12-minute documentary about the experience of four young international drivers at the
Ferrari Driver Academy. For the fourth year, the bank took various promising young talents
to do trials at the academy in Maranello (Italy) in October 2014. The drivers are the Spaniard
Marta Ariza, the Brazilian Pietro Fittipaldi (Emerson's grandson); the American Jake Craig,
and the Mexican Axel Matus.
The drivers underwent medical and physical tests, sessions in the simulator with Pedro de la
Rosa, and mental training. They were also instructed in how to acclimatise to the car and the
circuit, and how to work with engineers to tune-up for an F4 (Ariza, Craig and Matus) and an
F3 (Fittipaldi). They also went out to do a few laps of the track.
This activity takes place in the context of Banco Santander's sponsorship of Scuderia Ferrari
and F1, and its support for the sport with the aim of promoting the careers of young drivers,
who live a unique experience every year in their training process. “School of Champions” is a
sign of Santander’s support to talent and the prosperity of people. These initiatives add
meaning to the sponsorships, and enable Santander to extend benefits to society.
