BROWN JR., Governor PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION 505 VAN NESS AVENUE SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94102-3298 February 8, 2017 To whom it may concern: Please be advised that the Commission’s Water Division (WD) is suspending San Jose Water Company’s (San Jose) Advice Letter (AL) No. 501, filed on January 9, 2017, for further review of San Jose’s request for authorization to implement a Sales Reconciliation Mechanism (SRM). As a protestant to AL No. 501 you are being sent a copy of the suspension notice for this matter. The suspension process is being put into effect since disposition of the advice letter will not occur within the initial review period of 30 days from the date filed. Since multiple protests to AL No. 501 have been received, WD needs additional time before determining the appropriate disposition of this matter. The suspension shall be for a period of up to 120 days and will suspend the Advice Letter’s effectiveness until WD has issued its disposition of San Jose’s request.
