This diagram shows a basic pumping system that transfers liquid from a raw material tank to a storage tank. It includes a pump, motor, suction and discharge valves, strainer, relief valve, and electrical panel. The pump draws liquid through the suction valve and strainer into the pump, then forces it out the discharge end through the discharge valve into the storage tank.
