2. PROJECTS
● Knowledgemeet Management : To The New arranges a knowledgemeet every last
Saturday of the month, in which knowledge is shared through sessions. This project was
focused on managing this whole structure. Using this admins are able to send out
surveys to the attendees to get their prefered sessions and allocate the sessions to them.
Also pie charts of the feedbacks of the sessions were also shared with all the users. The
whole website is built on spring mvc, using springboot and hibernate 4.
● ToolkitMQTT : It was the first project on which I worked in To The New. It was a
subproject of parent project, toolkit, which was being built for the open source
community of java. In this project I created a class that would help users to connect to
various devices, using mqtt protocol, easily and efficiently. Reconnecting mechanism
was also included in the implementation.
● Bookage : It is a website which is aimed to buy and sell books, a user can login normally
or as a seller. A cart is provided for the books and a payment gateway was also attached.
It was aimed to ease the students of getting rid of their old books, and also getting a good
price for those books.
● Link Sharing : It was made as bootcamp project in To The New, it has a basic
register/login and dashboard for a user where they can share links and files with the other
users. Inside the dashboard top viewed resources and top 5 new resources were also
displayed. It is aimed at sharing knowledge with ease.
● Pedometer : It was an android app that counted steps, speed and calories and saved it in
a database. This information could be seen from a site where health tips were also given
based on the bmi of the person.
● AndroBrowser : AndroBrowser is a web browser built for the android platform. The
users can surf the internet and download files from the internet. It also has an inbuilt chat
section where the users can join different forums available to chat with other users of
same interest.
