This document contains an assessment guide for a 7th grade math unit on patterns and algebra for a student named Sally Kwon. It outlines the tasks, assessment criteria, and problem solving methods. The assessment will evaluate Sally's ability to explain key algebra concepts, represent algebraic expressions, solve patterns algebraically, communicate steps clearly, and reflect on the usefulness of problem solving methods and algebra. It also includes sample problem solving steps for reading questions carefully, identifying relevant information, setting out calculations, and checking answers.
The student analyzed the end of show scene from the musical Grease. They discussed the performances of the two main characters, Sandy and Danny, praising their use of vocal projection, tone, and body language to convey emotion. Symbols like clothing and gestures were used to represent meanings. The scene had some variation in pace between songs. Costumes effectively established the time period and influenced character movement. Lighting, music, and simple set design of blocks complemented the performance within the space limitations. Overall it was an enjoyable musical.
The document defines the characteristics of an epic poem, including that it recounts the heroic actions and adventures of a larger-than-life protagonist through high style verse. This document provides an analysis of elements in a drama performance including characters, setting, focus, tension, and symbols. It examines scenes from a freeze frame, mime, and role play depicting a family at Christmas. The analysis describes characters like Grandma and Jonas, focuses on how a memory is received, and explores tensions around relationships, surprise, and mystery. Symbols of hands and gifts/trees are used to represent receiving a memory and Christmas. The overall mood is one of confusion and the meaning aims to convey gratitude for family bonds during holidays.
The narrator was excited to visit Suzhou but lost important papers on the train ride due to being distracted by conversations and fun with others. While losing the papers was unfortunate, the narrator gained valuable life experience and wisdom from the incident that will be more useful than what was lost. The narrator does not regret the experience despite the small setback.

The document discusses straight line graphs on the number plane and their equations.
1. The red lines are parallel with equations that have -1/2, which determines the angle. The sign of the constant a indicates whether the line increases or decreases as x increases.
2. The blue lines are also parallel, with equations sharing the constant 2, which determines their angle.
3. The lines y=-1/2x, y=2x, and y=x intersect at the origin because their equations have b=0, making the y-value 0 when x=0.
The document then provides two alternative ways to graph a line: i) finding the x- and y-

I won't hide or deny, the solid fact
that it's not something epic or heart beating
perhaps too boring and abbreviated
But that's how I am,
Sometimes full with vanity
with interminable faults
but still, it's me and I won't contradict you
even there are complaints towards me
or perhaps indifferent attitude too.
And, here I'll try to be objective and without false
to tell you my story
About a teenage girl named
Sally of the scarlet brick walls
located in a humdrum square
And full of pandemonium and distraction
but still an agreeable place for me.
Grand daughter of Mrs. Kim,
I'd like to be called by
the fondness and devotion of her
affable and amiable attitude always the same
is something I'm yearning for
Still it sometimes is an obstacle
since home sick is something deadly
for feeble concentration about Homework
thus I try not to think about her
That is the only challenge I got
so I guess I am a very lucky and ordinary girl
who has nothing much to tell
And dear whom reading this poem
sorry for the plain, boring story.
Good Bye,
for it will be another word for
See you again
and as a recompense
Let's learn about you next.
