The Safe Shelter Collaborative, initiated by Caravan Studios and Polaris Project, aims to enhance access to safe shelter for human trafficking survivors by addressing critical barriers like inefficient intake processes, limited beds, and insufficient funding. The project will create shareable intake tools, train shelter providers, and launch a technology solution called SafeNight to streamline placement and manage hotel donations. Initial pilots will occur in New Jersey, with plans for national expansion to develop a scalable solution that addresses the urgent needs of survivors effectively.
