Rydułtowy is a town in Silesia, Poland that has been established for over 700 years. Its emblem depicts crossed rakes on a blue background and an obelisk lists important dates from the town's history. The town's name comes from the male name Rudolf. Rydułtowy-Anna is a coal mine that was established in 1806 where miners still work today, including digging coal from "Szarlota", one of the highest coal peaks in Europe standing at 134 meters tall.
