Actors, musi- cians and entertainers cannot obtain adequate insurance coverage from traditional carriers. Additionally, film studios, record companies and event planners rely on the abilities of their top performers to generate revenue. Case Study: The firm designed a personal disability policy for one of Hollywood’s A List actors earning an excess of $15,000,000 per film. The policy would pay him an aggregate benefit of $55 million in the event of a disability. To adequately cover his affluent lifestyle, the policy was structured to pay $500,000 a month. If after 60 months the actor was deemed permanently disabled, he would receive a lump sum payout of $25 million to cover loss of future earnings. Case Study: A famous recording artist was preparing for a worldwide concert tour to promote her top sell- ing debut album. The firm secured non-appear- ance coverage for her management company. The coverage protected her from losing poten- tial earnings if she had to cancel a tour appear- ance due to death, illness or other unexpected events. However, fame can sometimes turn into noto- riety. The media always seeks to uncover celeb- rity details, and what is exposed is not always flattering. Death, Disablement, and Disgrace coverage provides support for brands that use celebrities or spokespeople to endorse and pub- licize their products or services. In the event of the brand being brought into disrepute, the pol- icy provides up to an agreed sum, enabling the brand managers to recover costs and expenses of the insured campaign. Covered Perils: • Death: in case the insured person passes away during the campaign • Disablement: in case an accident or ill- ness befalls the insured person during the campaign which causes a necessary cancellation or withdrawal • Disgrace: in case the insured person commits any criminal act, or any offense against public taste or decency, or if any situation or occurrence directly involving the insured person degrades or brings that person into disrepute or provokes insult or shock to the community and reflects unfavorably upon the campaign or product Case Study: Bank agrees to loan a professional basketball Player USD 3,000,000 over a 3 year period. In order to protect the interest of the bank they purchase a third party ownership policy to pro- tect themselves in the event the player suffers a career ending injury, killed in an accident or has his contract terminated due to gross misconduct. Coverage Includes: • Third Party Coverage • Permanent Total Disablement from occupation as a professional athlete • Cancellation of Athletes contract due to gross misconduct. • Death any cause • No right for return of payment of ben- efit in the event the Disgraced player returns to the game after gross mis- conduct, based on the player spend- ing time in correctional facility.

This unique plan of insurance allows for coverage to remain confidential in that the owner of the policy will acquire the coverage without the need for the insured to conduct a medical exam or sign the application. In order for coverage to be considered by under- writers the policy owner must provide contrac- tual justification for such insurance. A written agreement between the two parties becomes the essential element of underwriting Confidential Failure to Survive. An annual review of the finan- cial agreement is required for renewal. Coverage is offered on an annual basis, yet shorter terms are also available. Confidentiality is a critical component to the successful underwriting of this plan. Top Coverage Needs: The Confidential Failure to Survive insurance plan was designed to provide insurance benefits which would indemnify contractual obligations between third parties. The purpose of this coverage is to protect the investment and the profits of an event or perfor- mance.
