Roisin Murphy was previously known as the lead singer of the experimental dance duo Moloko. She is now promoting her debut solo album "Ruby Blue", which was produced by Matthew Herbert. The album represents a natural progression for Murphy and allowed her to continue experimenting creatively. One of the songs, "Night of the Dancing Flame", was inspired by Murphy witnessing women dancing around a fire during a festival in Ibiza. While the future of Moloko is uncertain, Murphy feels focused on her artistic growth and continuing to challenge herself musically.
