1. Dear Jason,
There are so many things I wish I could say to you. I sacrificed my life, my children, and my happiness for you and you left me for another younger woman. I defied my father by marrying you. I ruined my relationship with him just to be with you. Also, I killed my own brother to stop him from coming after you I chopped him into pieces and dumped him in the ocean! All of this for your safety! Then once we were safe at sea and we were headed towards the land of the Golden Fleece I helped you when King Pelias tried to kill you. I retrieved you out of jail and showed you where the Golden Fleece was. I killed King Pelias when he was coming after you.
When I heard that you were leaving me for a younger princess I felt all of that love, devotion, dedication and every good emotion I have ever felt to you seep out of my body and were filled with hatred. I had to plan revenge on you for all of your wrong doings. I decided that I could poison your new lovely bride by charming her with a beautiful gown and a hand-crafted crown to go along with this ensemble. But I would not be foolish enough to give it to her myself so I had our children give her the gift. She of course fawned over the dress just as planned and I get no blame what so ever. But when I heard that the king also died from the poisoned dress while holding his daughter it was like icing on the cake. I not only killed your bride but her father too! I knew that my children would be highly punished for such a crime so I murdered them to keep them at peace. It of course was also nice to see your face when I told you of this. I buried them far away from you and in a good place but you may not visit it to morn. Just another plot to the plan of my revenge. In the end, well everything worked out very well for me.
-Medea
Dear Medea,
I am completely appalled by your letter!! Why you did all of those sacrifices for me I have no idea! I never asked you to! You just always felt it was your duty to save me! I think I probably could have saved myself! I mean I was chosen by Hera the queen of the Gods to go out on one of the most dangerous journeys known to man! I cannot believe that you would kill so many people for me! That’s not love that’s just you being crazy! Especially when I heard about how much pleasure you got out of the fact that you killed my bride and her father, I wanted to kill you! And then to cover up our poor children! How could you!? After you killed them you then felt the need to take them somewhere where I could never visit their grave in morn! You have ruined my life for eternity and you will never be forgiven, by me or the Gods. Don’t think just because you fled the land that you have fled guilt. I believe in karma and for all of those bad deeds you have done you WILL have to pay! If I knew you would have ever done such an unthinkable thing I would have never married you! Love is something you will never know! I’m sorry I ever met you.
-Jason
