The io.js Story
• Node Forward was the path that led us to the io.js fork
• Thanksgiving Day 2014: Node.js is forked by Fedor Indunty
• The io.js v1.0 release was published on January 13, 2015

Before the fork, everybody was fighting to get
stuff in and fighting to make these changes
happen. After the fork, everyone was content just
getting their stuff done.
