What does your daily or weekly fitness regime consist of?
I go to the WAC at least 3x/week using the Stride and Strength class on
Wednesdays as my anchor component. Weekends generally include any number of
Scouting events like hiking, biking, camping and just plain enjoying the outdoors.
Other than the obvious health benefits, how has being fit improved your
         life?
Being a Scout leader has provided many experiences with my son that I otherwise
would never have had the opportunity in which to participate without a decent level
of fitness. I may be older and slower than some of the young ones but by continuing
to work on my fitness level, I can keep up with them rather well.
How does personal fitness affect your work life?
It helps me start my day with a clear head. Granted, I can't stay up all night like I
used to if I work out at 6a in the morning, but then there is also a bit of peace in the early hours that I can't seem to find later in the day.
What advice do you have for other executives interested in starting either a personal fitness plan or corporate wellness initiative?
Make it fun and set a goal. Visualize yourself out scuba diving, horseback riding or crossing the finish line of a local 5K and bring along a friend or family
         member.
