1. BACKGROUND SUMMARY ON ROGER MILLER
Roger Miller is Co-founder and Senior Partner in the executive search firm, Ryan,
Miller and Associates (RMA). Mr. Miller heads up the Financial Services Group,
which serves clients in the Commercial Banking, Commercial Finance, Investment
Management and Investment Banking fields.. Mr. Miller has been in the executive
search field since 1973 and now specializes in Senior Management level searches
from CEO to Senior Vice President level. His clients include large multinationals as
well as privately-held regional institutions.
Mr. Miller has a Juris Doctorate degree from University of West Los Angeles School
of Law and is a past member of the California Bar Association. He has his
undergraduate degree from Bowling Green University.
Mr. Miller is a past President of AAFA (American Association of Finance and
Accounting) a national affiliation of executive search firms. . Mr. Miller also chaired
the Grievance Committee of AAFA for over 15 years. Mr. Miller is a member of The
Association for Corporate Growth, the Commercial Finance Conference of
California, Risk Management Association, Turnaround Management Association,
and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. He has been a speaker at various
professional organizations’ meetings such as the American Society of Financial
Analysts, Risk Management Association of Southern California, and Association for
Corporate Growth.
Mr. Miller has also served as an expert witness in several cases related to industry
compensation standards and type of qualifications needed for positions in the
financial services’ sectors .
