Profile
 Riccardo has more than 15 years of experience in the insurance and banking sector. He is a
Managing Consultant specialized in insurance and business transformation questions from
the points of view of the insurer, the broker/agent and the client.
 Amongst other experiences, he was in charge of Worker Compensation Field Underwriting
covering FO, BO , Claims administration.
 Speaks fluent French, Dutch, English, Spanish and Italian
 He used to develop tools & dashboards for performance reporting to the Non Life country
corporate management.
 As black-belt , he lead numerous projects of optimisation, process design and monitoring.
He combined most of 6-sigma techniques with risk management as he was in charge of
RCSA as Group Operational Risk Manager in Financial Services in international and regulatory
framework.

Risk Management
RCSA: Riccardo was in charge of risk and control assessments for the Holding of a main
international bank (one of the key elements of Basel II framework) main activities consisted in
gathering the key experts of targeted activities for main risks definition, quantification,
supervision and mitigation actions, quality review, reporting and program management.
PMO: He was also in charge of the methodology, its deployment and its deliverables within the
entire group (Report to the Board and to the Corp. communication)
Risk Transfer Management,
Insurance : ensure the continuity of the insurance cover within the entities of the group (local
and international program deployment). This implied the full process of transfer risk decision
and follow-up program on insurance products Liability, Business continuity, Fleet, Property &
Worker compensation.

Sales & underwriting: Region Brussels & Wallonia Worker Compensation Field Underwriting
i.e. technical & commercial account management for Winterthur.
Underwriting & Account management on the field: Providing production support through
producer visitations and by participating in underwriting and production presentations.

Business Process Improvement Management
BPI - 6-Sigma: As AXA WAY black belt six sigma leading improvements projects for AXA
(essentially within the corporate business units). DMAIC Methodology: the listening of the
customer requirements, quality criteria definition, process performance measurements, root
causes analysis and validation, improvement/design of the solution and monitoring for ensuring
the continuity (included the dashboard delivery).
Program Lean Six Sigma Manager : Riccardo has been also in charge of a lean six sigma
program within a bank. Through a transformation plan, Riccardo defined the strategy of the
operational excellence department, define the project selection process, the customer
relationship, the use of NPS inquiries and integration in the full map of improvement initiatives.
He coaches the stakeholders of the program (GB/BB/Sponsors) in order to concretely
supervising the results in terms of proces optimalisation and people development (Continuous
Improvement Culture Change). Lean Program Impact Matrix and Balanced Scored Card were
implemented (on Cost, Revenues, CTQs, in line with Strategy)
Target Operating Model ,
Insurance - TOM: Within the energy sector, Riccardo defined an Operating Model for covering
the workflows of main departments related to the management of risk events, legal cases and
with a special focus on insurance.
Business Analysis,
Business Analysis: As a Business Analyst for two main Life Insurance projects (Back Office &
Front Office internet solution) managing the process of group/pension insurance Winterthur
Belgium & Swiss Life Luxemburg.
