A team from Fovea Dynamics presents their concept for REX, a quadruped rover designed for improved mobility in space exploration. They developed a 3D prototype of REX equipped with tools from NASA's Perseverance rover. REX's gaits were created using reinforcement learning and embedded in a web app for testing its ability to walk and run on uneven terrain. The interactive web app allows users to control REX's joints and test its learned skills.
