ACADEMIC TRAINING AND PROJECT
 Summer training (vocational) at Mejia Thermal Power Plant, Damodar Valley Corporation
for one month. Mainly got an in-depth knowledge on how power is being generated and
distributed.
 Done an academic project on “Statcom and various inverter topologies”.
We have a group of seven for this project. In this project we mainly use several Voltage Source
Inverter techniques to reduce the total harmonic distortion in statcom. For proper operation of
statcom, the output waveform should be purely sinusoidal. So we need to reduce total harmonic
distortion to have the desired output by using Matlab Simulink.
WORK EXPERIENCE
 Done a project on plant layout and machines specification, and Electrical maintenance in
IFB Industries ltd, Taratala after graduation. Main work function of the project was to draw the
overall layout of the plant and also have to do maintenance work like noting down all machines

2. notification and the pressure rating and which die to be used for pressing every day for hydraulic presses
for making different automotive parts and lastly dealing with vendors is in the mainframe of the project.
