2. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Shunt active power filter is designed and implemented using Matlab Simulink Library. The main
objective of my project is to remove the current harmonics in source current. The implementation of
active filter is based on p-q theory method. This method provides an efficient method control of active
power filter dealing with harmonic current and reactive power compensation.
