Description:
NetAct is the NSN product family for the management of telecom networks; multi-technology and multi-
vendor network elements. Network management is done either directly to network elements or
indirectly via lower level OSS systems.
Purpose of NetAct (i.e. OSS system) as different variants is to provide network management
functionalities for multi-vendor and multi-technology telecom networks.
NetAct, a product of Nokia Siemens Networks, is an element/network
management system. A network consists of network elements like MSC, RNC/BSC, BTS and User
Equipment. NetAct as a product manages network element and network system as well.
