Project Detail: The project is responsible to download the data from the event recorder device which is
mounted on the Locomotive, process the data and provide it to different services for further processing. The
main goal was to calculate the amount of fuel used by the locomotive and the engineer driving it. It also helps
in generating violations against the engineer in with respect to breaking the rules.
Responsibilities:
 Interacting with the client to understand the requirement and finalize its scope.
 Development / code enhancement of various modules.
 Bug fixing and maintenance task.
 Deployment of the modules using ant on dev environment.
 Testing the changes made and its integration with different modules.
 Ensuring smooth delivery of the given module.

Description: In this project we have message test nodes i.e. Dummy terminals (Simulators). These nodes
represent each real-time system. The communication that happens between each of the system is tested in
these nodes using real time data. If proper communication happens in these nodes in real time the system
will work as per the expectation.

Description: In order to test the LCCM (Locomotive Command and Control Module) commands, Union
Pacific Railroad requires a test application to test and verify the operation of the GE Locomotive Command
and Control Module (GE LCCM), EMD Locomotive Command and Control Module (EMD LCCM) and the
CORYS Locomotive Command and Control Module (CORYS LCCM). The primary purpose of the LCCM-TA
is to be used as a tool by a Systems Engineer to test and verify that LCCM correctly handles messages
exchanged on this interface, and to test and verify that the LCCM correctly implements the functions as
defined in LOCOMOTIVE COMMAND AND CONTROL MODULE (LCCM) FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS
M-9155 V2.0.

 Understanding the requirements in ICD.
 Creating the UI in Java Swing.
 Adding Functionality to Swing Components using java coding.
 Testing the UI using a simulator.
 Using the Wire-shark tool to snoop the bytes in the network.
