He has worked as a senior designer for Hallmark Cards since 1986 where he designed humorous cards, gifts and books, supervised teams, and won design awards. In addition, he has worked as a freelance illustrator, graphic designer and copywriter for various clients since 1986. He has a BFA in design and illustration from the Kansas City Art Institute and lives in Kansas City with his family.
