Dane K. Severinsen is an instructional design specialist with experience using various software programs and instructional design models. He has a Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Western Illinois University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree. His professional experience includes creating library instruction materials as a student worker and developing cashier training through collaborative work. He currently serves as a graduate assistant providing technical support and training.
Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST) is recruiting recent graduates with a passion for teaching and a strong
background in software development or engineering for a one-year assignment teaching talented graduates in Accra, Ghana.
On a daily basis, Teaching Fellows support MEST Trainees in developing their programming skills, technological understanding and entrepreneurial spirit. They work in dynamic teams with other Fellows from around the world, which are led by Faculty that have significant software and business experience.

This presentation is part of a 3 hour PD: Schoology as the foundation for a blended learning classroom. During this PD, we focused on creating effective learning targets and how to utilize Schoology and it's features to effectively run a blended classroom while monitoring student learning through the data collected in Schoology.
