SKILLS & ABILITIES
Investigations
• Investigated a fire for class credit at Cell #2 in the Ashland
Burn building on October 24th
, 2013 following a simulated
arson. In completing this investigation I observed the soot
deposition, mass loss, and directional charring patterns. I
then calculated and graphed the calcination
measurements, determined my hypothesis, tested it and
came to my conclusion.
Communications
• During our trial investigations I was tasked with completing
many Pre and Post incident summaries, creating graphs
and explaining my deductible reasoning.
Leadership
• Constantly volunteered for special assignments and shifts
at school and my current employment. I believe if we are
proactive then enough people will see this and become
reactive thus motivating them to meet their goals.
EXPERIENCE
Volunteer Firefighter
Shelbyville Fire Department
• General suppression duties, Apparatus response, Department maintenance duties, and
emergency response.
Kitchen Lead/Meatcutter
Logan’s Roadhouse
• Provide the best possible eating experience for our customers by being dedicated to my
employment.
CO-OP Firefighter
Richmond Fire Department
• General suppression duties, Apparatus response, Department maintenance duties, and
emergency response.

BIOGRAPHY
• I am a twenty three year old that graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in the Spring
of 2014 with a Bachelors Degree in Fire Protection & Administration. I come from an
emergency services family and can relate to the importance of all aspects of the field. I
believe hard work and determination will get you where you need to go and that was
instilled in me by my parents. At an early age I began working and quickly realized the
importance of a job. Now that I have graduated from college I am looking for my
permanent job that I can be proud in doing and settle down with my wife and raise our
family. Thank you for your time and consideration of me.
