As a web developer at GetUWired I mainly build ground up responsive
websites. I work in PHP, but I use Javascript, jQuery, HTML and CSS on a daily
basis. I also have done a lot with custom reporting and data integration from
the CRM, Infusionsoft.
Phoenix Coding (My own company) – Oakwood, GA
Web Developer (Nov 2014 – Present)
Since I founded Phoenix Coding I have had multiple clients ranging from simple
websites to more complex integrations with Google’s oAuth and Youtube API’s.
Phoenix Coding is a pride of mine that allows me to expand my creativity
outside of what is allowed or allotted for at GetUWired. Phoenix Coding is also
a partner of Ready2020 which is a Turnkey Management Django App. It handles
a vast network of apartment buildings and their units by allowing the
management of the units, vendors and their jobs, and the entire turnkey
process. It utilizes django-registration, Celery, djangorestframework and many
other useful tools. This site is set to go live 1/10/2015.
University of North Georgia – Oakwood, GA
Django Web Development Internship (Aug 2013– Dec 2013)
The goal of this internship was to create a deployed website that allows users
to choose, view, and download data that will/has been put into the Postgres
database. The site is designed in such a way that it will require little to no
maintenance as well as an easy to use interface for the users of the site.
Teachers Assistant for Engineering and GIS (Jan 2013 – Dec 2013)
In the fall my duties were split among two professors. My first goals were using
Sphinx and Python to create and maintain a class webpage that held all of the
class materials. The rest of my time was spent organizing and maintaining data
on school servers.
Jackson County Water & Sewage Authority (JCWSA)
Geographic Information Systems Intern (May 2013 – Nov 2013)
My duties at JCWSA were to collect GIS data, enter it into a Esri Geodatabase,
and analyze it. In this position I worked heavily with Trimble equipment, Esri
products, and python scripting. While working here I also got to work with
networking, network administration, and server administration.
