This research study is intended to determine the impacts of the COVID-19
Pandemic on Barangay. San Roque, Tarlac's Small and Medium Enterprises.
Specifically, the study aimed to provide answers to the following questions:
1. What is the profile of the small/medium enterprises in Barangay. San Roque,
Tarlac?

those variables to accurately get the data that will be use to
determine the result of the current ongoing study.

• At least one-hundred (100) respondents need to answer the

• Percentage distribution - the demographic profile variables of the
respondents were analyzed using the simple percentage with the following:
• Weighted mean - A weighted mean is a kind of average. Instead of each
data point contributing equally to the final mean, some data points contribute
more weight than others.

CONCLUSION
• Based on the result, the small and medium enterprises revealed that impact of
Covid-19 in to their business are marked as positive and the business owners are
agreeing with it.
• Some of the businesses are partly agreeing the impact of Covid-19 Pandemic in
to their enterprises and the others are agreeing to the survey given by the
researcher.
• There is a result of lack in competition in their business they may use others
strategy by business planning.
• The result shows small and medium enterprises are still operating even they are
in state of financial risk due to unexpected the widespread of closing businesses
and Enhance Community Quarantine (ECQ) however, they survive in the impact
of the covid-19 pandemic by relying of government support even some of them
are not they can also survive by advertise and social support.
• There also result of maintaining safety protocol compliance to prevent spread.
RECOMMENDATION
• Since, the impact of Covid-19 pandemic has been proven they should improve their competition
strategy. Sell and post their product on innovative website for income to sustain their business.
• In terms of safety for their customer and employee’s they should maintain the safety protocol for
sanitizing their place, always keep social distancing and implementing of wearing mask and face
shield and should use online platforms for business transactions and utilization of non-cash payment
options.
• The researcher also recommend that in terms survivability they should train and conduct the owners
a gathering data and monitor trends that the other businesses are surviving in a midst of Covid-19
Pandemic and also should maintain their price and quality.
