This document outlines a research study on the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on small and medium enterprises in Barangay San Roque, Tarlac, Philippines. It presents the problem statement, objectives, scope, methodology and findings of the study. The study found that the pandemic negatively impacted businesses' financial risk but owners agreed on the importance of safety protocols. It also found that while competition increased for some businesses, others remained neutral. Owners ensured survival through business planning, government support programs, and social media promotion. The conclusion recommends businesses improve strategies to boost competition and utilize online platforms and cashless payments.
