Michael Palevo is a 24-year-old exercise science graduate from Nashville, TN pursuing a double concentration in Human Movement and Sports Performance. His career goals are to direct a cardiac rehab center, work in a human performance center doing VO2 max testing and altitude training research. He also wants to test professional endurance athletes. As an undergraduate, he completed cycling scholarship and research on cycling power output with altitude training. For this course, he hopes to learn how to better interpret and write research articles. He would write about comparing the effects of long lower-altitude versus shorter higher-altitude bouts of training on endurance performance.
