The Drinker Family Papers ledger from 1773-1775 was in poor condition, with a missing front cover and spine, detached back cover, and many torn and split pages. The ledger underwent conservation work including cleaning, mending tears with Japanese paper, attaching new end papers, and sawing the ledger into two separate volumes which received new cloth covers. The repaired ledger and detached back cover were housed in an archival box.
