Religion plays an important role in both Ukraine and Chile. In Ukraine, the majority of people identify as Orthodox Christian, though some are Catholic or non-religious. In Chile, about 70% of the population identifies as Christian, most of whom are Roman Catholic, while 25% do not affiliate with any religion. Both countries have a diversity of religious beliefs represented among their populations.
