Mental health has been in the news quite a bit lately. Dozens of U.S. states are currently suing Meta for contributing to the youth mental health crisis by inserting addictive features into their products, while the U.S. Surgeon General is touring the nation to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of loneliness and isolation. The country has endured periods of low national morale, such as in the 1970s when high inflation and the energy crisis worsened public sentiment following the Vietnam War. The current mood, however, feels different. Gallup recently reported that national mental health is at an all-time low, with few bright spots to lift spirits.
To better understand how Americans are feeling and their attitudes towards mental health in general, ThinkNow conducted a nationally representative quantitative survey of 1,500 respondents and found some interesting differences among ethnic, age and gender groups.
Technology
For example, 52% agree that technology and social media have a negative impact on mental health, but when broken out by race, 61% of Whites felt technology had a negative effect, and only 48% of Hispanics thought it did.
While technology has helped us keep in touch with friends and family in faraway places, it appears to have degraded our ability to connect in person. Staying connected online is a double-edged sword since the same news feed that brings us pictures of the grandkids and fluffy kittens also feeds us news about the wars in Israel and Ukraine, the dysfunction in Washington, the latest mass shooting and the climate crisis.
Hispanics may have a built-in defense against the isolation technology breeds, owing to their large, multigenerational households, strong social support systems, and tendency to use social media to stay connected with relatives abroad.
Age and Gender
When asked how individuals rate their mental health, men rate it higher than women by 11 percentage points, and Baby Boomers rank it highest at 83%, saying it’s good or excellent vs. 57% of Gen Z saying the same.
Gen Z spends the most amount of time on social media, so the notion that social media negatively affects mental health appears to be correlated. Unfortunately, Gen Z is also the generation that’s least comfortable discussing mental health concerns with healthcare professionals. Only 40% of them state they’re comfortable discussing their issues with a professional compared to 60% of Millennials and 65% of Boomers.
Race Affects Attitudes
As seen in previous research conducted by ThinkNow, Asian Americans lag other groups when it comes to awareness of mental health issues. Twenty-four percent of Asian Americans believe that having a mental health issue is a sign of weakness compared to the 16% average for all groups. Asians are also considerably less likely to be aware of mental health services in their communities (42% vs. 55%) and most likely to seek out information on social media (51% vs. 35%).

Regulamin konkursu walentynkowego
1. REGULAMIN KONKURSU
„Konkurs Walentynkowy Radia Gdańsk”
organizowanego przez Polskie Radio Regionalną Rozgłośnię w Gdańsku “Radio Gdańsk” S.A. z siedzibą
w Gdańsku, przy ul. Grunwaldzkiej 18, zwane dalej Organizatorem.
Celem konkursu jest zwiększenie popularności stacji.
§ 1
POSTANOWIENIA OGÓLNE
1. „Konkurs walentynkowy Radia Gdańsk” odbędzie się w dniach 7-14 lutego 2022 roku.
2. W konkursie mogą uczestniczyć wyłącznie osoby pełnoletnie, spełniające wymagania
nałożone niniejszym regulaminem.
3. Uczestnikiem konkursu jest osoba, która wyśle sms odpowiedź na pytanie zadane przez
prowadzącego audycję wg § 2.
4. Pracownicy i współpracownicy Radia Gdańsk S.A., a także osoby, które biorą udział
w organizowaniu Konkursu, wraz z członkami ich najbliższych rodzin (rodzice, mąż, żona,
dzieci, wnuki) nie mogą brać udziału w Konkursie.
5. Laureatem konkursu będzie jedna osoba wybrana przez Biuro Marketingu i Reklamy Radia.
6. Laureatami konkursu jest osoba, która w sposób najbardziej kreatywny wykona zadanie
wymienione w § 1 p. 3.
7. Przystąpienie do konkursu jest równoznaczne z akceptacją regulaminu konkursu
i zezwoleniem na publiczne ujawnienie wizerunku, imienia i nazwiska uczestnika konkursu na
profilu Radia Gdańsk S.A na portalu społecznościowym Facebook i stronie internetowej Radia.
8. Dane osobowe przekazane Organizatorowi przez uczestników Konkursu będą przetwarzane
przez Organizatora tylko i wyłącznie w celu: realizacji Konkursu
i doręczenia nagród, jak również w celach marketingowych. Podanie danych osobowych jest
dobrowolne, jednak ich niepodanie uniemożliwia otrzymanie nagrody w Konkursie. Każdy
uczestnik Konkursu posiada prawo wglądu do swoich danych osobowych oraz do ich
poprawiania. Dane osobowe będą przetwarzane zgodnie z przepisami ustawy z dnia 29
sierpnia 1997r. o ochronie danych osobowych (tj.: Dz.U. z 2002r. Nr 101, poz. 926 z późn. zm.)
9. Niniejszy regulamin dostępny jest w siedzibie Organizatora oraz na stronie internetowej
www.radiogdansk.pl
§ 2
ZASADY I PRZEBIEG KONKURSU
1. W dniach 7-11 lutego 2022 roku w godzinach 7:00-8:00 i 15:00 – 16:00 należy przesłać sms z
odpowiedzią na pytanie: „Jak nazywałby się święty, gdyby nie był to Walenty” wraz z
uzasadnieniem. Uczestnik aby zostać Laureatem konkursu musi wykazać się pomysłowością i
nietuzinkowym podejściem do tematu. Wyniki konkursu zostaną ogłoszone 14 lutego 2022
roku po godziinie 15:00.
2. Radio informuje laureata poza anteną o sposobie odebrania nagrody.
§ 3
NAGRODA
1. Udostępnienie samochodu NiSamochód Nissan z pełnym bakiem na weekend oraz voucher
na weekendowy pobyt w hotelu Zamek Gniew dla dwóch osób o wartości 1 500 zł (słownie:
jeden tysiąc pięćset złotych).
2. Laureat udostępni Organizatorowi swoje dokładne dane, które posłużą do przekazania
nagrody.
§ 4
2. REKLAMACJE
1. Wszelkie reklamacje mogą być kierowane do powołanej przez Organizatora Komisji
Reklamacyjnej pisemnie, na adres Radio Gdańsk, S.A. 80-236 Gdańsk, ul. Grunwaldzka 18.
Reklamacje powinny być składane w formie pisemnej, w terminie 7 dni od dnia
rozstrzygnięcia konkursu. Wszelkie reklamacje, które wpłyną do Komisji Reklamacyjnej po
wyznaczonym terminie nie będą uwzględniane.
2. Złożone przez Uczestników reklamacje będą rozpatrywane w terminie 14 dni od dnia
otrzymania przez Komisję Reklamacyjną. O rozpatrzeniu reklamacji Uczestnik zostanie
powiadomiony pisemnie.
3. Decyzja Komisji Reklamacyjnej jest ostateczna.
§ 5
POSTANOWIENIA KOŃCOWE
W wykonaniu obowiązków płynących z Rozporządzenia Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady (UE)
2016/679 z dnia 27 kwietnia 2016 r. w sprawie ochrony osób fizycznych w związku z przetwarzaniem
danych osobowych i w sprawie swobodnego przepływu takich danych oraz uchylenia dyrektywy
95/46/WE (ogólne rozporządzenie o ochronie danych - RODO) Organizator podaje komplet informacji
dotyczących przetwarzania danych osobowych uczestników Konkursu (osób zgłaszanych i
zgłaszających oraz głosujących) w załączniku do niniejszego Regulaminu.

1. KTO JEST ADMINISTRATOREM TWOICH DANYCH?
Administratorem danych osobowych jest Polskie Radio Regionalna Rozgłośnia w Gdańsku "Radio
Gdańsk" S.A. ul. Grunwaldzka 18, 80-236 Gdańsk, We wszelkich kwestiach dotyczących ochrony
danych osobowych możesz się skontaktować z wyznaczonym przez nas inspektorem ochrony

2. DLACZEGO PRZETWARZAMY TWOJE DANE OSOBOWE?
Podstawowym celem, dla którego przetwarzamy Twoje dane osobowe jest organizacja i
przeprowadzenie Konkursu pod nazwą „Konkurs Radosne Święto Niepodległości” (dalej jako
Konkurs), włącznie z obsługą skarg i reklamacji ( zg. z art. 6 ust. 1 lit. c RODO)
Podstawą przetwarzania Twoich danych, w tym wizerunku, jest umowa (o treści regulaminu
Konkursu), zawierana przez zgłoszenie udziału w Konkursie (o ile zgłaszasz własną osobę do
Konkursu lub jeśli zgłaszasz osobę trzecią, albo, gdy osoba trzecia zgłosiła ciebie), albo przez
głosowanie gdy głosujesz. (zg. z art. 6 ust. 1 lit. b RODO)
Twoje dane będziemy także przetwarzać w celach rozliczeniowo-podatkowych oraz
archiwizacyjnych. W takim przypadku podstawą przetwarzania przez nas Twoich danych
osobowych będą przepisy prawa, które nakazują nam przetwarzanie danych w celach
rozliczeniowo-podatkowych. ( zg. z art. 6 ust. 1 lit. e RODO)
Zbierane przez nas dane będziemy także przetwarzać w celu dochodzenia naszych praw i obrony
przed roszczeniami, przy czym w tym wypadku dane te będziemy przetwarzać na podstawie
prawnie uzasadnionego interesu administratora danych osobowych.
3. CZY MUSISZ NAM PODAWAĆ TWOJE DANE OSOBOWE?
W przypadku zawarcia i wykonywania umowy (o treści regulaminu Konkursu) pobieramy tylko te
dane, bez których dana umowa nie może zostać wykonana. Niepodanie danych niezbędnych do
zawarcia i wykonania umowy, spowoduje, że nie będziemy mogli jej z Tobą zawrzeć lub jej
wykonać. Dotyczy to także danych, które musimy zebrać z uwagi na ciążący na nas obowiązek
prawny (np. dane do faktur). Jeżeli pozyskujemy Twoje dane w oparciu o Twoją zgodę, wówczas
zgoda ta jest całkowicie dobrowolna. Jej brak spowoduje niepodjęcie działań, które wskazaliśmy
w naszej prośbie o wyrażenie zgody.
4. KOMU BĘDZIEMY PRZEKAZYWAĆ TWOJE DANE?
Odbiorcami Twoich danych będą:
a. nasi upoważnieni pracownicy i współpracownicy, którym, Twoje dane osobowe będą
ujawniane po to, by mogli wykonać swoje obowiązki;
b. podmioty, którym powierzamy przetwarzanie Twoich danych osobowych w związku z
wykonywaniem na naszą rzecz usług (przetwarzający), np. doradcy podatkowi, kancelarie
prawne, agencje reklamowe,
c. inni odbiorcy danych – np. nasi partnerzy, fundatorzy nagród, sponsorzy, banki, firmy
kurierskie, firmy telekomunikacyjne, spółki z naszej grupy kapitałowej;
4. d. organy publiczne, w tym urzędy skarbowe, Policja, organy ścigania, w związku z
prowadzonymi przez nie postępowaniami.
5. JAK DŁUGO BĘDZIEMY PRZECHOWYWAĆ TWOJE DANE?
Okres przechowywania Twoich danych osobowych powiązany jest z celami i podstawami ich
przetwarzania. Twoje dane osobowe wynikające z zawarcia umowy, wykonania usługi lub
rękojmi/gwarancji przetwarzać będziemy przez okres, w którym mogą ujawnić się roszczenia
związane z tą umową (na podstawie aktualnych przepisów prawa). Do okresu przedawnień
Twoich roszczeń dodatkowo czas ten wydłużamy o 12 miesięcy na wypadek roszczeń zgłoszonych
w ostatniej chwili, problemów z doręczeniem, a liczenie od końca roku służy określeniu jednej
daty usunięcia danych dla umów kończących się w danym roku. Dane przetwarzane w celach
rozliczeniowo-podatkowych oraz archiwizacyjnych przechowujemy przez 6 lat od końca roku, w
którym zakończył się Konkurs.
6. JAKIE PRZYSŁUGUJĄ CI UPRAWNIENIA W ZWIĄZKU Z PRZETWARZANIEM PRZEZ NAS TWOICH
DANYCH?
W związku z przetwarzaniem przez nas Twoich danych przysługuje Ci szereg uprawnień. Twoje
prawa to:
a) prawo żądania od nas dostępu do swoich danych osobowych oraz prawo do ich
sprostowania, usunięcia („prawo do bycia zapomnianym”) lub ograniczenia przetwarzania;
b) prawo wniesienia sprzeciwu wobec przetwarzania danych osobowych na potrzeby
marketingu bezpośredniego, które powoduje zaprzestanie przetwarzania przez nas Twoich
danych w celach marketingu bezpośredniego;
c) prawo do wniesienia sprzeciwu z przyczyn związanych z Twoją szczególną sytuacją, jeśli dane
osobowe są przetwarzane na podstawie prawnie uzasadnionego interesu. Jednakże
będziemy dalej przetwarzać dane osobowe w niezbędnym zakresie, jeżeli po naszej stronie
będzie istniał uzasadniony powód;
d) prawo do przenoszenia danych przetwarzanych w związku z wykonaniem umowy lub na
podstawie Twojej zgody;
e) jeżeli podstawą przetwarzania jest Twoja zgoda, posiadasz prawo do cofnięcia zgody w
dowolnym momencie. Cofnięcie zgody nie wpływa jednak na zgodność z prawem
przetwarzania przez nas Twoich danych osobowych, którego dokonaliśmy na podstawie
zgody przed jej cofnięciem.

Jeżeli nasze wyjaśnienia i działania okażą się niewystarczające lub wadliwe, możesz w każdej chwili
zwrócić się do organów ochrony danych osobowych – w Polsce jest nim Prezes Urzędu Ochrony
Danych Osobowych.
