Lyndsee Thompson volunteered as a notetaker for the University of Victoria Notetaking Program for Students with a Disability, which provides lecture notes to students with permanent disabilities. Students who received notes from Lyndsee reported that she was reliable in submitting notes and consistently provided high quality material. I am writing this letter in support of Lyndsee Thompson, who recently fulfilled volunteer
responsibilities with the University of Victoria Notetaking Program for Students with a
Disability. This program addresses the academic needs of university students with permanent
disabilities. As a notetaker, Lyndsee was responsible for providing lecture notes to students
registered with our office.
Students receiving notes from Lyndsee have reported her to be reliable in note submission and
consistent in the provision of high quality material. Lyndsee’s desire to help others succeed has
enriched the academic experience of students who access the Notetaking Program. I commend
