We were fortunate indeed when Sharon Wright approached our organisation offering
the skills and experience she had gained working with Jamie Oliver's Fifteen
Foundation in the UK. The timing was excellent as we were about to commence
planning of our inaugural conference. Sharon was engaged on a contract basis to
coordinate the conference in collaboration with a program director and the
Foundation staff.
Sharon's professionalism, exceptional efficiency and creative thinking in this short-
term role were inspirational and she would be an asset to any endeavour. Sharon was
able to put her hand to many different tasks, from logistics to writing press releases
to setting up a sophisticated accounting & registration system. This system is now in
place for any similar events staged by the Foundation in the future, in addition to
many other systems and procedures established by Sharon.
The extra effort Sharon put in to market the conference - not in her original job
description - was simply briiliant - she can pick up and run with things in an
extraordinary way. In a short intense burst she connected us with organisations and
individuals that will continue to be very important to the ongoing work - a lasting
Iegacy. Her attention to detail and follow-through was exceptional.
Most importantly Sharon is deiightfully cheerful and a pleasure to have in the office.
