Referee learns about container environments at build and run time, enforces declarative rules to adapt, intercept, secure and signal about access requests, and provides a technical container security solution that works across Linux and Windows workloads under open source licenses.

The Reference Design Kit (RDK) is a pre-integrated software bundle that provides a common framework for powering customer-premises equipment (CPE) from TV service providers, including set-top boxes, gateways, and converged devices. The RDK was created to accelerate the deployment of next-gen video products and services. It enables TV service providers to standardize certain elements of these devices, but also to easily customize the applications and user experiences that ride on top.
The RDK is supported by more than 200 licensees including: CE manufacturers, SOCs vendors, software developers, system integrators, and TV service providers. It is administered by the RDK Management LLC, a joint venture between Comcast Cable, Time Warner Cable, and Liberty Global.
The RDK software is available at no cost to RDK licensees in a shared source manner, and RDK community member companies can contribute software changes and enhancements to the RDK stack.

"This workshop is for pentesters, security researchers or someone looking to get into IoT security but is reluctant due to the wide range of technologies involved and plethora of different tools. While it does require a considerable amount of knowledge in the domain, it is not as difficult as you may think. At Trendyol, we are running thousands of production-grade Kubernetes clusters to make our customers always happy. The challenge that we have to achieve is to track every component, resource, user, and team in a timeline manner. This is where we have to collect audit events from almost everywhere! Kubernetes audit logs can effectively track the changes made to our clusters. By using Falco, we consume the kernel events and enrich those events with information from Kubernetes. Enabling Kubernetes Audit Logs feature allows us to scan audit events that forwarded from Kubernetes. By using Fluent Bit, we collect logs from different sources such as containers and Falco; furthermore, we extend them with filters, and send them to multiple destinations. By using Loki, we build a highly-available log aggregation system. We create and manage all of our alerting rules for the log data. In this session, we try to combine pieces and introduce a brand new Audit Monitoring System!

Oracle to PostgreSQL migration
StrikrSystemsLLP investigated various freeware tools for migrating databases ranging in size from 10Mb to 80Gb from Oracle to PostgreSQL and MariaDB. The goal was to migrate the schema, tablespace, table, view, index and some constraints with high fidelity. CSV dumps of data from Oracle were successful. Tables, views and partial indexes were migrated but stored procedures and user-defined functions did not migrate. Challenges included different data type storage sizes and encoding between databases. After customizations, schema, tables, views and partial indexes were successfully migrated but stored procedures and functions require parsing SQL grammar and object representations. Going forward it is recommended to use PostgreSQL for new projects, refactor existing applications before migration, and
