RECRUITMENT
Recruitment is the process of actively seeking out, finding and hiring candidates
for a specific position or job. The recruitment definition includes the entire hiring
process, from inception to the individual recruit's integration into the company.
SELECTION
Selection is the process of choosing employees to fill specific jobs within an
organization. This process typically includes reviewing applications or resumes,
interviewing candidates, and making a final decision.
RECRUITMENT PROCESS
• The recruitment process involves preparing,
sourcing, screening, selecting, hiring,
onboarding candidates for job vacancies.
• Sources of recruitment include internal sources
(existing employees), external sources (job
portals, social media), and referrals.
• Techniques for attracting candidates include job
postings, social media campaigns, and
participation in job fairs and networking events.
SELECTION PROCESS
• The selection process involves screening candidates,
conducting interviews, and assessing their suitability for the
job.
• Screening resumes and applications helps in shortlisting
candidates for further evaluation.
• Interviews can be conducted through various methods such
as one-on-one interviews, panel interviews, or video
interviews.
• Assessment methods include tests, simulations, and
assessment centers to evaluate candidates' skills, knowledge,
and competencies.
LEGALAND ETHICAL CONSIDERATIONS

ensure fair and unbiased recruitment and selection processes.

SELECTION Selection is the process of choosing employees to fill specific jobs within an organization. This process typically includes reviewing applications or resumes, interviewing candidates, and making a final decision.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS • The recruitment process involves preparing, sourcing, screening, selecting, hiring, onboarding candidates for job vacancies. • Sources of recruitment include internal sources (existing employees), external sources (job portals, social media), and referrals. • Techniques for attracting candidates include job postings, social media campaigns, and participation in job fairs and networking events.
