Manilo's class adviser gave him an envelope for his parents, which his mother opened and discovered was a letter informing them that Manilo had been awarded a scholarship to a prestigious university for the next school year. His mother proudly told Manilo that after all his hard work from a young age, he was now being recognized and rewarded with this scholarship.

envelope for his parents. He immediately went home
and handed the envelope to his mother. Mother Susan
opened and read the letter. The letter informed her of
Manilo’s chance to enjoy a scholarship next school year
in one of the prestigious universities in the country. “At
