First, let me introduce myself; I am Gary Babcock. I was a 29 year military veteran, and had worked several
contracts I bid, won, and managed in Afghanistan. More specifically, I was the Afghanistan Country Manager
for Flight Works, Inc. One of my responsibilities was overseeing aviation operations in support of Fluor. In that
role, I worked with Mr. Kumar and have witnessed first-hand his dedication to duty.
Sandeep immediately impressed me with his integrity and accountability. He worked as ‘Travel Specialist’
when I first met him in 2011. He was responsible for thousands of employee movements to, from, and within
Afghanistan to include us contractors. He would work countless hours, before and after normal duty hours, to
ensure we made our travel [movements] and overseen that travel. I was directly responsible for movement
within theater for Fluor employee’s so needless to say, I had direct communication with Sandeep to ensure
travel times were met. Sandeep was held to a high standard and he held me to a high standard for his area of
responsibility.
After that position, Sandeep was promoted to ‘Office Manager’ where he was, and currently is, responsible
for flight tracking and route planning for Rotary wing and creating passenger & cargo manifests. Sandeep
goes above and beyond however, he ensures that those folks he has manifested has shown for the flights, and
they indeed get where they are going. He immediately up channels any and all information positive and
negative or of an emergency situation.
It is with great pleasure that I provide this ‘Letter of Recommendation’ for Mr. Sandeep Kumar. If I had a
company, I would have no hesitation in hiring him into a position of responsibility and I have no doubt that he
