“My choreography is very
musical. I work succintly
and articulately with music.
I am challenged by music
and technical performers
who learn quickly. Musically
my Denishawn background
inspired me, as I was trained
in the music visualizations of
Schubert, Schumann,
Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin,
and others. However, I work
with an improvisational
style; I don’t come into
the studio with much pre-
planned movement, just a
thorough knowledge of the
