Reading Strategies
Reading can be very fun.
Sometimes reading can be tricky.
When you get to a tricky word, remember the
helping hand to help you figure it out.
Try looking at the picture for clues.
Go back and read the sentence again.
Get your mouth ready to say the first
sound in the word.
Look for chunks inside the tricky word that
you already know.
Listen to yourself read, does it make
sense?
Using the helping hand will help you to
become a great reader!
