What is a choropleth?
A choropleth map (from Greek χώρο ("area/region") + πλήθος ("multitude")) is a thematic map in which areas are shaded or patterned in proportion to the measurement of a statistical variable being displayed on the map. A good example is population density or per-capita income. The choropleth map provides an easy way to visualize how a measurement varies across a geographic area.

There are many ways to solve the same problem and new technologies being introduced all of the time. OER können zur Bewältigung von aktuellen bildungspolitischen Herausforderungen beitragen. 2. OER können als Katalysator für soziale Innovationen in Betracht gezogen werden. Sie können Formen der Interaktion zwischen Lehrenden, Lernenden und Wissen verändern. 3. OER haben einen Lebenszyklus über die ursprüngliche Gestaltung und den Zweck der Bildungsressourcen hinaus. Der Prozess der Anpassung und Iteration kann die Qualität und Verbreitung von Bildungsressourcen verbessern. Politische Maßnahmen sind jedoch wichtig, damit OER dieses Potential erreicht.

Rapid improvements in electronics are enabling a wide variety of health-related attachments to become available for mobile phones. These attachments can analyze breath, blood oxygen levels, blood glucose, blood type, and urine and do ultrasounds. These advances will change the way health care is monitored and managed.
